Sea-level rise is one of the aspects of climate change that is more difficult to constrain. Yet, it has severe consequences on human environments, both through the direct impact of coastal erosion and through salinization and, hence, degradation of areas of agricultural use. In this Think & Drink, we will discuss the rise of sea levels in Italy and how the perception of it can be rethought through the perspective of material engagement.
