How to Reach Us
Getting to Bologna by Public Transport
- By train: Bologna is well connected by trains running both North-South and East-West. High-speed trains also stop in Bologna.
- By plane: Bologna Airport is accessible from major European cities. From the airport, take the bus called "AirBus," which reaches the city center and the train station in 25 minutes.
Buildings 1-4:
To reach the four locations in Bologna city center:
- On foot: A 20-minute walk is enough to reach the Department from the Central Train Station by heading east along Viale Angelo Masini and then toward Viale Berti Pichat.
- By bus: Take bus no. 32 from the train station and get off at the third stop.
- By car: From any direction on the highways, enter the Bologna ring road and exit at junction no. 7, near the Fiera area. The exit is located north of the city. Then follow Via Stalingrado toward the city center. Upon reaching Porta Mascarella after crossing the railway bridge, turn left onto Viale Berti Pichat.
Building 5: Navile
- On foot: A 20-minute walk is sufficient to reach the Navile location from the Central Train Station by heading northwest via Via de' Carracci, Viale Aristotile Fioravanti, and Via Piero Gobetti.
- By bus: Take bus no. 87.
- By car: From any direction on the highways, enter the Bologna ring road and exit at junction no. 5. The exit is located northwest of the city. Head toward the city center along Via Zanardi, turn left onto Via Gagarin, and then left again onto Via Gobetti.
