Orientation and training

Courses, educational workshops and seminars aimed at university lecturers, secondary school students and advanced training courses for company employees.

Our training and orientation proposals for secondary schools

The Department of Physics and Astronomy regularly promotes training activities for teachers, educational workshops for secondary school students, and collaborates in the organisation of conferences and public events open to schools, educational communities and citizens.

Some of these activities are carried out as part of European projects and in collaboration with the PLS-Scientific Degrees Project.

Our training proposals for company employees

Advanced training courses for company employees (AFDA) are professional training courses activated at the request of the company.

These are advanced professional training courses related to specific training needs of companies that can be met with courses and seminars agreed upon with the Department.

This type of training does not award CFU credits and is carried out as a third-party activity, such as an external teaching contract.

Some examples of advanced professional training activities dedicated to company employees during 2025:

- Satellite data in the Earth's atmosphere
- Climate Change and climate models
