One step away from the Moon...

Telescope observations from the Specola tower

In July the traditional appointment with astronomical observations returns from the suggestive terrace of the Torre della Specola, the ancient seat of the Bolognese Astronomical Observatory. This year they will be dedicated to the great scientist Niccolò Copernico, of whom 450 years have passed since birth, who spent four years in Bologna as a university student and in our city made astronomical observations so important that they were mentioned in the 'De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium'
