Public Engagement

The Public Engagement Service is responsible for all processes that facilitate relationships between the Department and the broader community, as well as other public and private entities. These include consultancy contracts and commissioned research, sponsorships, calls for proposals, and agreements for public engagement projects, incoming and outgoing orientation, corporate employee training courses, and speaker contracts for seminars, conferences, summer schools, and workshops.

The DIFA Service offers support for:

  • Negotiating and drafting commercial contracts for Consulting and Research services ("Third-party contracts"), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with companies and other public/private entities

  • Sponsorship agreements

  • Collaboration agreements to strengthen Public Engagement initiatives and projects

  • Funding applications for Public Engagement initiatives and projects

  • Managing orientation projects for incoming students ("PLS") and outgoing students (Alumni Association)

  • Training courses for Corporate Employees ("AFDA")

  • Contracts for conference speakers at seminars, conferences, summer schools, and workshops

  • Spin-offs with the support of the KTO (Knowledge Transfer Office)
