It is established by Law 240/2010 and by the University Statute. Its functioning is governed by the Department’s internal regulations.
Functions
The Committee plays a key role in the University’s quality assurance system regarding teaching and student services for all degree programs within the Department. The student members have an active role, bringing their perspectives, expressing observations, and proposing improvements.
The Committee:
- Monitors, using specific indicators, the educational offerings, the quality of teaching, and student services;
- Provides opinions on the establishment, activation, modification, and discontinuation of degree programs;
- May submit proposals to the Department Council on matters related to teaching and the allocation of financial resources;
- Drafts an annual report on the teaching activities of the degree programs overseen by the Department.
Composition
The Committee is chaired by Prof. Iacopo Vivarelli and includes the following faculty members:
Prof. Silvia Arcelli, Prof. Domenico Di Sante, Prof. Carmela Lardo.
Student members include:
Stefania Caroline Velcea, Alice Di Cesare, Anna Maria Pedrelli, Giovanni Santaniello.
