The Call for Abstracts is now open for IPOE 2026 – the 5th International Conference on Interface Properties in Organic and Hybrid Electronics, an international conference dedicated to the study of interfacial properties in organic and hybrid electronic systems, to be held in Bologna.
The event will bring together researchers from universities, research centres and industry worldwide to discuss the latest developments in a field that is central to materials physics and advanced electronics.
Interfaces between organic, inorganic and metallic materials underpin numerous physical, chemical and biophysical processes that determine the operation and performance of innovative devices — from solar energy conversion and advanced sensing technologies to new solutions for flexible and hybrid electronics.
The conference will offer a multidisciplinary scientific programme, including both experimental and theoretical contributions, and will provide an important opportunity for exchange between the scientific community and the world of technological innovation.
Main conference topics include:
-
charge transport and trapping
-
charge generation and separation
-
solar energy conversion
-
energy transfer
-
molecular spintronics
-
materials for interface engineering
-
organic and hybrid sensors and devices
-
interfaces between organic, inorganic and metallic materials
-
two-dimensional materials, perovskites and MOFs
-
theoretical modelling and molecular simulations
Researchers interested in presenting their work are invited to submit their scientific contributions through the Call for Abstracts by May 4, 2026.
