Abstract

On May 4-6, 2015, the GGI in Florence will host a conference on the status of the research in Fundamental Phsyics (https://agenda.infn.it/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=9367).

The focus will been on: 1) cold anti-atoms; 2) gravity and axions; 3) quantum simulations; 4) cold atoms and atomic lattices; 5) lattice gauge theories; 6) quantum optical applications and quantum communication.

Starting from this, we will try to give an introduction to the last four topics and the connections among them
