Why partecipate

To reflect, over a glass of wine, on the importance of science communication.

Program

A philosopher and a chemist meet in an exercise of mediation between languages. The stakes are high: trees, mangroves, clouds, spin, suburbs and fields become a ground for comparison, a space in which to reflect on metaphors — both those that, in the shift from specialist language to scientific communication (and description), may generate misunderstandings, and those that structure and shape technical language itself.

Is the risk worth taking?
